The Curtis School is an independent elementary school nestled into the chaparral and sagebrush covered hillsides along Mulholland Drive in the Santa Monica Mountains. Curtis students share the space in and around campus with a vibrant natural community of plants and animals. The following images are part of a feature on some of these amazing creatures (most of whom were discovered on campus by the students themselves).
